Whilst trying to establish your capabilities to study drums with STIX ... if you've a desire, it's more than likely that you will accomplish the task.

We do however, require anyone under the age of 7 years to have an assessment during their first FREE lesson before acceptance to STIX School.  If in the event of a candidate under that age not quite ready for a structured music course, one will be allowed, upon payment of the Administration Fee to be placed on the waiting list until said child is capable at which time you will be notified by post to be evaluated once more.

Martin teaches a very easy to understand American Fraction System of Theory that replaces the traditional vocabulary of crotchets and quavers with quarter, half, whole notes, etc.
