Martin's best known 'claim to fame' is probably that he was the drummer with the Drifters until 1991 when illness caused him to remain in England whilst the rest of the band went to the White House Performance for President Bill Clinton. It was after his recovery he founded © Stix School

Stix School of Rhythm [also known as Drumteacher.co.uk] is a specialist music school devoted entirely to learning DRUMS and Latin Percussion. The school has been long established as we approach our 15th year in Ampthill alone. Martin, a masterclass drummer has been a total professional throughout his career which now extends to his school. [see "Martin" tab on left] We have local as well as international clientele with every course of study tailored to the individual. We do not offer group lessons, however from time to time we do hold workshops.
